Cohen Cunningham, which opened its doors January 13, 2025, was created out of a vision for a better firm that we all knew we could build. We wanted a firm built around talented, team-oriented attorneys, administrators, and staff committed to providing an exceptional client experience. While we grow, we will not sacrifice the bedrock principles and central values that make us who we are.
We are a dynamic partnership bringing together established lawyers and administrators who between them experienced life at 10 different large national or multistate law firms.
Conversations among our founding team centered on how to build a well-rounded law firm with strong trial and litigation services complemented by the scale and resources to serve large corporations and insurers, along with an emphasis on culture and a long-term vision to ensure growth and stability well into the future.
The founders were very intentional about establishing a multigenerational leadership team to set the firm up for success in the near-term and long-term. Uniquely, the firm was constructed with an understanding of the value of experiences and leadership styles of those of different generations. This approach will ensure the continuation of our founding vision along with consistency and stability for our clients. The creation of a built-in succession plan was an extremely important part of the vision.
Cohen Cunningham handles civil litigation and trials catering to a wide variety of industries, with particular focus on construction litigation; professional liability spanning accountant liability, lawyers malpractice, broker-dealer liability, and other miscellaneous E&O matters; directors and officers liability; employment counseling and litigation; government liability; commercial and business litigation; product liability; transportation; retail and hospitality; food and beverage; general casualty defense; workers’ compensation defense; and OSHA matters.
